instructions
Draw and cut out your desired shape using the paper template
Cut two pieces of fabric using the template. Make sure to flip your template over when cutting the second piece, and save all your fabric scraps for later.
Blanket stitch around the entire shape, leaving a 1.5 inch opening at the end.
Insert fabric scraps through the opening to stuff your charm.
Finish the blanket stitch and tie off the end.
To create a garland, use a large sewing needle and yarn or twine. Line up your charms and push the needle through the back of each of them to attach to the string, adjusting spacing as you go.
To create ornaments or bag charms, use thread to tie a loop at the top for each charm to be hung from.
