floral utensil holder

Pattern Details

We shared the Material Grrrlz Guide to Hosting in our Q4 2025 issue. No grrrl dinner table setting would be complete without something floral, so we’ve created a floral crochet piece that you can use to dress up your utensils.

instructions

  1. Make a magic circle. Repeat (double crochet, chain 1) 12 times in the circle.

  2. Repeat (chain 10, skip 2 double crochet, 5 single crochet into chain space) through the round. This should create 6 loops for petals, evenly spaced around the circle.

  3. In each petal: (10 double crochet, chain 3, 10 double crochet). Between each petal, make 1 slip stitch in the center of the 5 single crochets.

  4. Block the piece so all petals lay even and flat.

Use the finished piece to decoratively arrange a fork, knife and spoon for a table setting.
